TESTIMONIALS

"Dear Wildwood Shores,
Thanks for sponsoring the holiday decorating contest. You do a great job all year of promoting spirit and a sense of community.
Living here surrounded by the beauty of the water and forest, uncluttered by billboards, neon signs, and stalled traffic enhances one’s life beyond measure.
All of you do a great job of improving Wildwood."

- Pat Louque, Lisa Stendebach

"A home away from home where there is always something to do whether it’s in the National forest or on Lake Conroe. A great location."

- The Bai Family

"We are looking forward to many years of refuge from the everyday stress of the big city for many years to come. The development will flourish, there’s no place like it on Lake Conroe. This is our first night in the cabin, and we are truly investing in the quality of our family’s lifestyle."

- All the Best, Barbara

"Wildwood Shores is just like the name implies. Surrounded by the everlasting Sam Houston National Forest, and the serene northshore waters of Lake Conroe, This development offers a getaway that can only be dreamed of. Our home in the Woodlands is only 40 minutes from this peaceful retreat, allowing for us to get away from the struggles and stress of city life in just a few minutes. The developer has done everything they have promised and more. The employees have gone above and beyond the call of duty. The entire experience is something that I’m glad I became a part of."

"Yesterday I made a huge decision to move me in the direction of my retirement dreams. I Bought a lot in Wildwood Shores, a fairly new development at the extreme north end of Lake Conroe, about an hour and fifteen minutes north of Houston near Huntsville Texas. My front porch will be looking at a huge 200 year old oak tree and my back balcony will have a view of a very pristine part of Lake Conroe and it is totally surrounded by the 163,000 acre Sam Houston National Forest. My lot is on the top of a hill and is heavily wooded with pines and hardwoods. The development is a gated community and all of the homes are and must be either log, stone, or hardy plank stained to look like logs. The fishing, boating, hunting, hiking is great in the area, and white bass spawn in Sandy Creek that runs through the property.

The whole area is rolling hills dotted with horse and cattle ranches and thick forest that cannot be exploited by progress. It is the perfect place to utilize my canoe without fear of being swamped by the power boats that dominate the southern half of the 19 mile long lake which is not in the National Forest. The whole development preserves a very rustic look in tune with its gorgeous natural surroundings. Wildwood Shores has the only homesites available within a private gated community on Lake Conroe in the National Forest. Lot owners can rent very nice two bedroom fully stocked waterfront cabins on the property for $40 a night. The development already has a pool, tennis courts and a beautiful tree shaded water front picnic area and a marina/restaurant under construction. The 10 mile drive from I-45 into the development reminds me of the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi only more hilly.
